課程概述

1.本課程適合初級（二）以上程度的學習者，也就是至少學習完《實用視聽華語一》，能掌握450個以上中文詞彙量，或是在臺灣中文學習總時數達到160小時 (或在其他國家地區達320小時) 的學生，或已通過臺灣TOCFL華語文能力測驗入門級或HSK漢語水平考試第2級的學生。
2.本課程授課語言以中文為主

課程目標

1. 加強學生在聽、說、讀、寫四方面的能力，達到各課標準。
Improve listening, speaking, reading and writing ability. Reach the level required.
2. 學生能讀寫正體字。
Know how to read and write traditional Chinese characters.
3. 能理解較複雜的語法並運用得當。
Understand more advanced grammars and be able to use them properly.

課程要求

1. 準時上課，不要遲到早退。遲到二十分鐘，視同缺席。
Attend the class on time, don’t be late for class or leave earlier than
scheduled. The student is considered absent if he/she is 20 minutes late for
the class.
2. 缺課者，應於主動詢問前次的課程內容並完成作業。
Absence from a class is no excuse for not knowing the assignment and what has been discussed in that class. Ask your classmates or me what has been covered in the class.
3. 上課應說中文，不說其他語言。
Only “Chinese” in class.
4. 記得帶課本和講義。
　Remember to bring the textbook and supplementary handouts.
5. 專心上課，並積極參與課堂討論。
Full attention is required. Active class participation is mandatory.
6. 請維持教室有良好的學習環境，任何干擾學習的事情都不被允許。課堂中禁止喝酒、吃東西（可以喝飲料）、抽菸、使用手機、傳簡訊和完成其他學科的作業。
Please keep the classroom a socially and culturally appropriate environment for learning. Objects of distraction are not tolerated. That means no alcohol, no food (drinks OK), no smoking, no cell phones, no texting, no working on homework or assignments for other classes.
7. 課中請勿使用手機和電子產品。(除了電子辭典外)。
No cell phones and No electronics. (Except electronic dictionary.)
8. 尊重老師及同學。如果上課中發生同學之間，或師生之間的爭執，或是上課時學生離題的情況，教師將視情況隨時打斷學生發言，以維護課程順利進行。
Be respectful of each other in classroom. Topics discussed in class should be related to the course. If students argue with classmates or the teacher in class, which is effect on the class going on smoothly, the teacher will end the topic anytime. Or, if students talk too much to stray into the topic isn't related to the course, the teacher also will interrupt them anytime.
9. 請準時交作業。遲交的作業不收，以0分計。
Hand in assignments on time. Late submission will not be accepted.
10. 禁止作弊及抄襲，違反者將提報學校紀律委員會。如果作弊，該項考試成績、作業以0分計算。
Cheating and plagiarism: Please do all the homework yourself. If the writing/content of your homework is not your writing, it is considered as cheating and will be reported to school disciplinary committee.
Cheating at any time is NOT allowed and will receive zero credit for tests and/or homework. This includes cheating on tests, copying others' homework or internet resources without proper paraphrasing.

1.	出缺席與平時表現	20%	(1) 平時課堂表現 (是否聽老師說話、做老師給的活動、出席狀況)The students are graded according to the performance in class. Answering questions in Chinese, joining the discussion and practicing in class will help you to get high scores. However, this score would be deducted if the students were absent too many times, or absent without informing the teacher in advance. (2) 遲到或早退20分鐘都以缺席1小時計。 Late for class more than 20 minutes or leave class 20 minutes earlier than scheduled time will be regarded as one-hour absence. (3) 一個學期有6小時沒來上課，老師不會扣分。從第7個小時開始，1個小時扣總成績1分。Students won’t lose any point if they are absent within 6 hours. However, students will lose 1 points per hour from the 7th hour.
2.	作業 Homework	20%	(1) 作業本。每一課的作業本，都在教完那一課的第二天交給老師，逾時不收，以0分計。Hand in assignments on time. Late submission will not be accepted. No submission, no grades. (2) 分組報告。2~3人一組，在每課結束時進行該主題的報告，第二次上課分組&抽題，每個人一學期報告一次。
3.	平時測驗 Regular Tests	20%	(1) 從第二週課程開始，每周有1~2次聽寫考試，不能補考。 (2) 每課教完有單元考試。考試主要為筆試(含聽力測驗)，視情況加入口試。若因故無法參加考試，需在考試後一週內完成補考，但聽力測驗及口試不能補考，因此該部分成績以零分計。
4.	期中測驗 Midterm Exam	20%	包括筆試及口試。 Midterm Exam includes paper test and oral test.
5.	期末測驗 Final Exam	20%	包括筆試及期末報告。 Final Exam includes paper test and oral test.
